In every production hall, the focus is on cost optimization and a smooth flow of work. Electricity is needed ubiquitously – reliable, flexible, low-cost and preferably low-noise and low-emission for large and also small machines. More and more companies are recognizing the value of renewable energies and especially photovoltaics on the way to achieving this goal. In addition, legislators are creating incentives or even obligations to build these capacities (for example, photovoltaic obligations for new buildings). This makes the power supply (and also the entire power grid) lower in emissions, but also more volatile. This is at odds with the expectations of industrial producers. The solution are storage systems that can compensate for peaks and drops in green generation. We show you how to build a more reliable, flexible and cost-efficient infrastructure with AXSOL’s large and small battery storage solutions – with your own renewable generators but also without them.

Semi- or full-stationary container solutions

Our Energy Container Solutions (ECS) are the powerhouses among our solutions. Freely configurable according to any requirements, we can integrate from 70 to 3000 kWh of battery storage into 10-, 20-, or 40-foot ISO containers. To put this in perspective: with the largest storage capacity, a small village with 150 single-family homes could be supplied with electricity from the container alone for two days. The batteries can be recharged with any conceivable energy source (power grid, photovoltaic, wind power, diesel generator, fuel cell, …). With a selectable output power of up to 2000 kW, even large production halls can be reliably supplied with electricity.

Energy Container Solutions are particularly suitable for the following applications:

    • Self-consumption optimization: For production halls with high electricity demand, battery storage systems of variable size can be used to reduce costs and optimize self-consumption. In most cases, the additional energy generation by a photovoltaic system at low acquisition costs is the most common solution to reduce the power consumption from the grid. The energy generated during the day is temporarily stored in our containers and made usable for the night or periods with less sunshine. Due to the modular design, generators and storage units can be scaled as required and designed exactly to the conditions of the respective application. Thus, a power supply from renewable energies of up to 100% can also be achieved for your production.
    • Peak load capping: Many companies in the manufacturing sector have particularly high energy requirements at certain times, for example to ramp up their machines in the morning. These peak loads are subsequently charged in the form of significantly higher network usage fees. The maximum average power measured in the quarter-hourly measurement intervals determines the level of costs. Avoiding these high costs is possible on the one hand through so-called load shifting, in which selected consumption processes are downregulated to avoid the peaks – but to the detriment of production efficiency. A more productive solution is offered by our large energy storage systems, which can cushion load peaks by discharging them when needed, thus avoiding increased grid usage charges. Incidentally, this works with but also without a photovoltaic system. The rule is: the more evenly the electricity is drawn from the grid, the cheaper it is.
    • EV charging: More and more companies are providing their employees with charging stations for e-cars on company premises as part of the mobility shift. On the one hand, this is good for the environment; on the other, it increases the demand for electricity. If several cars are charging at the same time, power peaks (see above) can occur. This can be avoided by using a large battery storage system as a charging point. Combined with renewable energy generators, this can also further improve the eco-balance of the vehicles.
    • Uninterruptible power supply: In the event of grid fluctuations, the power supply is supported by drawing energy from the battery storage system, and in the event of a complete grid failure, the entire power supply is switched to battery operation within a maximum of 20 ms. In this way, the function of your machines can be safeguarded several times and a complete power failure can be avoided.

Mobile battery storage solutions

Our ARVEY E3 & E5 solutions are mobile battery storages on transport wheels with 4.5 and 6 kWh capacity. With this amount of energy, even power-hungry machines such as a smaller industrial robot (500W) can be operated for 9 or 12 hours. The connection of such machines is easily possible due to a high output power of 3 and 5 kW. Wherever power is needed in your production, the robust wheels of these storage solutions make it easy to transport them to their destination. Cost-intensive, noisy and emission-rich diesel generators or long cable routes thus become superfluous.
The storage units can be charged by a wide variety of generation sources, whether fossil or regenerative. In interconnected operation, our Container Solutions can also be used as charging stations, enabling the creation of a (partially) self-sufficient, battery-based energy ecosystem. 


Our ARVEY A1 is the adaptable lightweight battery storage solution. Hand-portable and extra robust thanks to its reinforced aluminum housing, it can be used flexibly and safely in any production hall – wherever power is needed. Thanks to its expandable battery storage, you have a capacity of 480 to 1,920 Wh at your disposal. That’s enough to power a standard drill for 40 minutes, for example – per battery module.

The A1 is very mobile, also quiet and cost-saving. It can also be charged regardless of the type of generator source and ideally complements our Container Solutions. Charged overnight, it is available to site personnel during the day and reliably provides power for tools and other terminal equipment.
